Here in southern Canada, our lawns turn brown, there are water restrictions and it’s hot.

This year, our lawns are green due to a unusually cool and wet summer.

One thing though never changes.

And that’s the anxiety, the sleepless nights and sweaty palms just before school starts.

In 29 years, I always felt that pit in my stomach.
